“Parc a taula” (Park on the Table) is an economic development programme promoted by the Diputació de Barcelona (the Barcelona Provincial Council), which intention is to highlight the landscape, cultural and natural values of the Catalan natural parks by promoting wine-growing, and close natural products and its gastronomic ellaboration.

Background
“Parc a taula” was created in 2001. The Garraf and Olérdola natural parks were firstly included. Thus, this initiative has been performed repeteadly, and the incorporation of the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac Natural Park was carried out in 2004; both the Serralada Litoral Natural Park and the Foix Natural Park in 2008.

Objectives
The objective of this programme is to bring together all the agents that for many years promote and spread local food and quality products in favour of sustainable economic development, biodiversity protection, and strengthening the local identity. That means hotles, restaurants, vine-growers, grocer's, farmers and producers that belong to the five natural parks of the programme.
To that end, the Diputació de Barcelona (the Barcelona Provincial Council) asked Iternatura to manage the whole programme, which included: the creation of a strategic communication plan, the incorporation of new participants to the network, the creation
